桜田通りと明治通りに囲まれて、首都高目黒線下の川を渡った北里病院脇のエリア。地名で言うと港区白金、最寄り駅は白金高輪、或いは広尾と一見華やかなイメージがあり、幾つかの著名な飲食店が点在しているが、実際に訪れるとかなり静かで落ち着いた街である。
「ラシェリール」は、そんな街の一角に静かに佇んでいる。
アイボリーを基調とした外壁に落ち着いた茶色の扉、大きなガラス窓とその前に置かれた緑という外装、そして同じくアイボリー、茶色を基調とした内装は、共にシンプルで心地良い。
ここまででは、「静かで落ち着いた街」にある「シンプルで心地よい内装」のレストラン=「気軽な街場の一軒」というイメージを持たれるかもしれない。が、この店の最大の魅力は、一歩足を踏み入れた瞬間から感じられる非常に気持ちの良い「非日常感」である。
そんな「非日常感」を創り出しているのが、大本シェフが供する気迫溢れる料理とマダムの最高のサービス。
大本シェフの料理は、クラシックなフレンチをベースに自分らしさを追及したスタイル。プレートの上で素材の個性とそれを活かす為のシェフの想いが絶妙のバランスで表現されており、主たる素材はもちろん付け合せの一品一品迄、じっくりと楽しむことが出来る。ジビエをはじめとする肉料理は、特にお薦め。
余談になるが、このお店を訪れるきっかけはeatpia.comで紹介している他のお店のシェフの推薦だった。その際の、「同業者から見ても、あれだけきちんとした仕事をしているシェフはなかなかいないね。」という一言が、何よりシェフの料理の魅力を表していよう。
そしてプレート一皿一皿を更に魅力的なものにし、この店で過ごす全ての時間の価値をぐっと高めているのがマダムのサービスである。説得力があり的確な情報提供、テキパキとしているが気品ある立居振舞、各テーブルが最良の時間を過ごせる為の臨機応変な目配り・・・男女を問わずマダムのファンになってしまう確率は極めて高い。ちなみに、ワインもマダム担当である。
フレンチ好きな方、外食に慣れている方にお薦めするのは、言うまでもない。そして「普段はあまり外で食事をしないけど、たまにはフレンチでも。」という方にも、全ての意味で外れがない一軒として自信を持ってお薦め出来る。さらには、このような店で楽しく食事をすることを覚えることで、本当の意味での「日本の(食べる側の)フレンチのレベル」が上がるのでは、と思わせる素敵なお店である。
Lacherir is tucked in the quiet neighborhood of Kitazata Hospital. The neighborhood is defined on the other three sides by Meiji Dori running parallel with the Shuto Expressway’s Meguro route above a nameless river and Sakurada Dori to the east. The address is Shirokane and the nearest subway station is Shirokane Takanawa. Although it is a short walk from here to the more upbeat Hiroo area and its many well known restaurants, the area of Shirokane remains a haven of relaxing tranquility..
Inside one is engulfed in an elegant scene of ivory walls and tablecloths contrasted against the darker wood floor. Greenery outside the main window accents the subtle tones inside and the effect is a beautiful background to any couple enjoying a special moment.
Unlike many of the smaller restaurants available to metropolitan diners, this is not another small urban neighborhood bistro, or typical home away from home restaurant. Instead, Lacherir’s biggest attraction is that stepping inside transports you to a time and place far away from your daily routine, a time and place that become somehow special and enchanting. Time will pass more slowly than usual, and the entire meal will be a quiet interlude away from the bustling city.
The heart of this unique atmosphere is the combination of very spirited dishes cooked by Chef Ohmoto and the excellent service provided by Mrs. Ohmoto.
Chef Ohmoto prepares classic French cuisine infused with his own touches. What is expressed on the plates are a palate of high quality ingredients the chef’s respect for the character of each. You will soon come to realize that the chef pays very detailed attention to every element placed on the plate regardless of its size. We especially recommend the meat dishes, in particular the game meat when in season.
Interestingly, this restaurant was initially introduced to eatpia.com by a chef at one of the other restaurants listed on the site. He said, “Even from our professional view point, there are not many chefs doing such thorough work and taking care for the details as he is”. What he says about Chef Ohmoto is very hard to disagree with once you taste his dishes.
Making each dish even more enjoyable and the dining experience more complete at this restaurant is the service provided by Mrs. Ohmoto. She pays close attention to every table to make sure all of her guests to have a memorable dining experience. She confidently gives suggestions on food and wine. Her elegant demeanor has been talked about very fondly by many of the guests. In fact she wears a second hat as well, that of being the person in charge of selecting the wines.
This is, of course, a restaurant we recommend to French food lovers and in fact all proactive diners. In addition, this is a wonderful restaurant to recommend to those who may not dine out as often as they wish, because they will feel quite satisfied at having spent their rare dining out opportunity at Lacherir. They will quickly realize the beauty of and ascending level of French food in Tokyo.

Mrs. Ohmoto sincerely hopes that you will have a good wine encounter at Lacherir. She selects wines from all wine regions in France. Wines with different flavor characteristics at each price point to help you to select wines within you budget.
Wine by the glass is available from 1,200 yen while Champagne by the glass is available at 1,600 yen. Bottles are available from 5,000 yen while the main price range is 8,000 yen to 12,000 yen.
