It's another hot summer in Tokyo, and the parliamentary election has just wrapped up. Soon, we'll also see an election for the governor of Tokyo.
Though we don't know exactly why, restaurants seem to struggle during election seasons. So Sourire's Chef Yuzawa has decided to make his restaurant a bistro - it's a chance to get more people out and eating this election season.
Taste Chef Yuzawa's dishes a la carte
Starting today and continuing until August 2nd, Sourire will have an a la carte menu. This means diners can enjoy Chef Yuzawa's dishes without ordering a multi course tasting menu.
Appetizers are priced from 1,000 yen, while main dishes start at 3,000 yen. Bistro Sourire even offers a few dishes at less than 1,000 yen, and these are perfect for anyone at the wine bar.
Better yet, Bistro Sourire is offering their wines by bottle and carafe at lower prices than usual. This is great news for friends looking to share a bottle or two.
How about 100% ayu sweet fish terrine?
Sourire's regulars know to look forward to the 100% ayu sweet fish terrine, Chef Yuzawa's summer specialty. Naturally, he's doing it again this summer, too!
Though the dish is available a la carte, you can also reserve it beforehand if you absolutely don't want to miss it.
